Today we went over our addition properties. We listened to a song and made a flip book. Then we did a sort with our whiteboards.

I started this today for my math test grades. For every A they get a sticker on the board.

Seaweed .... Kelp

One of our Reading vocabulary words was kelp this week. So,before our reading test we sampled kelp. Most of the kids did not like it.

Today we did an experiment for kinetic and potential energy using a popper.

The kids were given a cookie and toothpick. They pretended to dig the chocolate chips out of their cookies.
