This has been a busy week. We have been sharing our math projects and working on spreading around random acts of kindness to our school. I love my job and especially my kids. My kids are doing so many random acts of kindness.... I love them..... We have also started being the teacher on the smart board. Volume is low but you can see them being teachers.

Week 15
This was a short week. The students turned in a math project about their special number. The students did a great job on this. They are so creative. I will upload pictures soon. I also got a wonderful note from a student. It warms my heart to get these kinds of notes.

Week 14
We are starting random acts of kindness for the holiday season. Each day we are selecting people to write positive sticky notes too. Today we wrote them for our principal, Dr. Davis. The kids are so sweet. We are working on a page of kindness to do for the next month.
Week 13
We studied the types of rocks and rock cycle. Then we made rocks and ate them. We actually used candles to melt our igneous rocks. I was a little nervous, but the kids did awesome. No burns or fire alarms went off.

Week 12
This week we studied weathering. I gave the kids sandpaper and a sugar cube. They said this was a lot of work... I think they got the point weathering happens over time. This was also my birthday week and let's just say they spoiled me.
Week 10
Today was Native American and Explorer day. The kids dressed up and then traded goods in the library. It was a great experience.
